A short but intense research phase for Google Design that purely focused on visual development. The objective of our first collaboration with Google Design was nothing less than tapping into new creative directions for Google’s outreach and finding an inspiring visual representation of the incredible UI work they have done in recent years.
“Artificial Spaces” is an interactive installation, created in collaboration with SixNFive for the exhibition “Digital Impact” in Disseny Hub, Barcelona. The installation generates architectural spaces on the fly and lets the audience explore these environments by changing the direction of the sunlight shining through the concrete structures.
Early 2021 the Brand and Creative Strategy team at BCG reached out to us at someform Studio with an exciting proposal - not only to explore 3D imagery for BCG’s brand identity, but even more so to create a complex highly sophisticated automated design system that would enable our client to generate their own imagery on demand.
Our contribution to the full rebrand of the crypto-security experts LEDGER with new image content and a fresh take on product photography.
Rachael is a proof-of-concept of the automation possibilities of advanced 3D design systems. It is a fully-automated algorithm creating CG visuals in real-time. Since May 2020, Rachael has been autonomously posting to the Instagram account @rachaellic one new image per day.
Microsoft asked us to highlight the redesign of the 365 mobile suite. The well known collection of mobile office apps got a fresh makeover that is stylishly minimal and exudes a friendly usability vibe. For the launch of the redesigns we directed a film that interprets the impact of the mobile user interface toolkit in everyday life and celebrates the adaptability of Microsoft’s design components for mobile.
A publication exploring the hidden narratives and sensual qualities of the raw and natural materials found in NEW TENDENCY products. NEW TENDENCY partnered with HelloMe & someform Studio to develop a visual concept and translate the art direction into a set of synthetic photographs merging architectural and natural environments.
Together with Karmarama we created this campaign for Honda which was shown across the UK market over a timespan of 2 years. someform’s concept revolves around several current Honda models on a giant hinged mobile. The pivoting movement of the suspended car platforms creates a spatial choreography providing flow and a sense of freedom.
A playful research project in collaboration with IKEA’s Future-Living Lab Space10. We developed seven concept-studies of futuristic autonomously driving vehicles, challenging the traditional idea of the car and exploring how we can re-purpose it to create a more fulfilling life on wheels.
